Shorty Rossi: THE PIT BOSS

Shorty, born Febuary 10, 1969, is a man who has a deep pastion for Pit Bulls. After getting in a bad neighboorhood and thrown in prison, he has changed his life. In 2000, he started his talent manegment co. for little people and in 2001, he came up with Shorty's Pit Bull Rescue. His life is a very intresting one, not many people like him because he brakes into peoples houses, gets arrested and caught on rescues, but it all comes to a point: it's for the dogs.

Pit Boss has been a great thing to show the world what Shorty got into and how he changed in a matter of 10 years. He says that the lack of education and training of the breed makes them have a bad reputation. He has never seen a Pit Bull attack in his whole life. When he was young he did a stunt and it hurt Shorty's back, so Geisha, his first dog, had to jump in and be his service dog. Shorty needed Geisha because he needs help on climbing up stairs and down them, and many more things that Shorty could do, but needed some help. After that, Hercules came along and took over as Shorty's right hand man. Just because he has a bad back, does not mean he is ever going to stop rescueing Pit Bulls. On rescues, it's so hard for him to move around and run to find a dog, so the effect is he ends up hurting himself or killing himself.

After sevral rescues he goes to the hospital because he screws up his back. His doctor suggested surgery and laying off the cigars and wine. But you know Shorty, he refused he said 'that's somthing i'm never going to stop'. Shorty has lots of fights with his employees and owners who mistreat their dog. He has a big mouth, and he can use it. He loves his dogs and thats who he will love forever.
